How to Set Up a Station

Thank you for your interest in setting up a wheelchair charging station. Our hope is that your organization will provide at least one publicly accessible dedicated charging station.

Of course we believe that all government facilities should provide this.

But we also hope every church and non-profit will also provide this service.

Setting one up is easy.

1. Find a wheelchair accessible area that has enough space for maneuvering safely in a weather protected area. Dedicated spots are best.
2. Install power and a charging station and clearly mark the way point. United Way of Jackson County has a grant to help you buy the charging station.

Adding it to our map is easy and free.
